System requirements

Runpad offers both a desktop app and a web app for different use cases:

• The desktop app supports test authoring and viewing tests/runs.
• The web app (runpad.bytesalt.com (opens in a new tab)) is designed for viewing tests and runs only.

Usage recommendation:

• Test authors who need to author tests should use the desktop app.
• Stakeholders who only need to view tests and runs can access the web app via their browser — no need to install the desktop app.
